Doctoring store-bought cake mixes

I love balsamic vinegar in desserts, and I wanted a way to infuse it into chocolate cupcakes (without a lot of work). I tried a few things, and this is what I came up with:

Balsamic Red Velvet Cupcakes

They turned out light, fluffy, and a little fruity. So - PERFECT. :)

Has any one else experimented with doctoring store-bought cake mixes?
