Blue spots on garlic when pickling

This is my third batch of pickles using a recipe that includes garlic in the mix. First two came out fine, just want to fine tune the taste. The third batch looks fine except the garlic is getting blue spots on it. Can't see blue on any of the pickles... Is this a mold? Pickles still edible???
