So I like the flavor of onion, but the texture, both raw and cooked just creeps me out. It's so bad that when we buy pasta sauce, that we have to run it through the blender first so I don't feel the crunch. If any recipe calls for onion, we have to either omit it, or basically pulverize it to where it's a paste almost.
Needless to say, this really limits the meals I order out since I hate requesting "no onions please" or basically everything. At dinner parties, I've not eaten what our host/hostess fixed if it contains too many onions for me to pick around.
How can I get over this, well, phobia of onions???
