Serious Eats: Talk
I am looking to buy a molcajete for my dad for Christmas and have read that there are some really crappy ones out there (i.e. you season them and season them and they are still very gritty). Anyone in the Chicago area have a good molcajete? If so, where did you buy it? I am probably going to get it in person just to avoid shipping costs but if you can recommend a place to buy one online, that would be fine. Thanks!
