Quick tapioca....savory uses?

I have a box of quick-cooking tapioca in my fridge. Not even sure why it's there, but I don't want it to go to waste. Does anyone know of any ways to use it in a savory application? Or maybe dessert other than pudding? I know it has thickening power, but not sure how to go about using it. Any idea or suggestions?
