Many of the staff postings have two parts, which might be described as (1) a recipe or slideshow or other "foundation material" plus (2) a narrative or thoughtful analysis or other "opinionated" piece.
There are, obviously, cross-links.
That said, community comments are hard-wired to only one of the two parts.
Considering that this may be a technical limitation of the software, which I know you do not write or maintain, my vote is that it would be way nice if all comments for both parts of what is, for all intents and purposes, a single presentation, be combined.
