Serious Eats: Talk
First time cooking for the SO
I realize this topic is a bit "Dear Cosmo" but I want advice from real foodies. I'm going to be cooking for my new fella soon and I'm not sure what to make. We're not picky eaters. I'm a good and adventurous cook.
My limitations are really budget (I like him, but he's not getting filet mignon) and equipment (I have all the basics but nothing fancy in a small city kitchen). What would you suggest?
