Dried out bread loaf Hmmph!

I knew I shouldn't bought the smaller bread roll, but I wanted to portion a loaf out (cheaper), but who am I kidding, I'll just keep on nibbling more and more. Anyway, I bought a spelt loaf from the greenmarket, cut in thick slices and stored in a plastic bag and placed in the vegetable section of the fridge. Sadly, when I took a slice out, it's so dried. I don't have a toaster at work, so the best is to microwave the bread. Still, the bread is really dry. Any remedies? Thanks.
