Weekend Cook and Tell: Cabbage Patch

Welcome to our Weekend Cook and Tell where each Wednesday we leaf through the food sections of various national newspapers in search of inspiration for a weekend cooking project. We hope you'll cook along with us and share your experiences, recipes, and photos here.

This week, in honor of our favorite green beer swilling holiday, we're highlighting another St. Paddy's day staple: cabbage. But we're certainly not limiting it to corned beef confines, we're looking for cabbage creativity. For some leafy green inspiration head over to The New York Times where Melissa Clark has three great recipes for your cabbage cooking pleasure: Crunchy Vietnamese Cabbage Salad With Pan-Seared Tofu, Pasta With Caramelized Cabbage, Anchovies and Bread Crumbs, and Cabbage, Potato and Leek Soup.

Show us photos of your cabbage concoctions on Photograzing (make sure to include "Cook and Tell" in your submission title) and tell us about your recipes here! If you'd like to blog the experience, please leave a link in the comments below. We'll post a round-up of your cabbagiest ideas, recipes, and experiences next Wednesday.
