I finally saw some bottarga being sold at a market I go to often; sold for almost 30 smacks. The price doesn't bother me much; I know it will go quite a long way, but I have never actually tasted it myself. Can someone describe the flavor? Is it similar to anchovies (which I love)? Or maybe fish sauce?
