Pour over cone vs French Press coffee

Is the pour over cone type coffee any better or worse than french press coffee? Do people find it more convenient?

I currently have Keurig, but I am think of switching for cost/quality reasons. I understand I'll never match the ease of that, but I really don't want to make too much of a production out of coffee.
