Digitized waiters...
They have been experimenting with waiters using special handsets that take your order and move it forward. Apparently that wasn't good enough. Just noticed a piece on CNN out of Silicon Valley, of course, where some restaurants are tryinng 'E la carte' which enables the diner to order via an i pad sort of device. How about the human element, huh? Who can we bitch with? Does this eliminate tipping?
