M Noodle in Williamsburg - trying to recreate their tofu

I absolutely love their Sliced Bean Curd with Chive Flowers. Does anyone familiar with the place know how they get their tofu like that? It's very meaty, marinated through, and almost takes on the characteristics of a shiitake mushroom. I would love to do this at home.

I sent them an email, but it bounced back. I could just go over there, I suppose, but that would be the easy way.
