Bring home the bacon-fry it up in a pan!!! Dinner 1/5??

I read the very depressing NYT Tara Parker-Pope article about fat so I decided to make very healthy dinner.

Roasted vegetable chicken soup--heavy on the veggies light on the chicken (it's kind of missing something I hope a little squirt of lemon juice as its served kicks it up a notch), a giant fruit salad and some sourdough.

Dessert will be stuff hanging around...some little elf needs to come eat the rest of the chocolate/cookies/candy left over from the holiday...I'm not even stashing it and the people won't eat it.
