Which pizza recipes have you tried?
Apologies if this topic has come up before, but I was thinking about the different pizza recipes I've tried over the years, and started to wonder if others experiment in the same way or stick to one or two basic types. I've tried:
- Neapolitan (or as close as I can get in a home oven)
- M. Batali's griddled pizza from Molto Gusto
- Grilled pizza
- N. Silverton's pizza from the Mozza cookbook
- KAL's no-knead sicilian
- Pizza Inn style cracker pizza
- J. Lahey's sheet pan pizza from My Bread
- KAL's NY style pizza in the food processor
I haven't had any bad experiences with these recipes -- after all, even bad pizza is good -- but if I had to choose, I think the NY style pizza and the cracker pizza have been my favorites.
What are your favorite techniques and recipes? Do you stick with the same ones, or do you experiment?
