Does everyone think that if I buy high quality egg nog and dump it into the ice cream maker it would make good ice cream?

I know we sometimes buy those BoltHouse smoothies and when in the ice cream maker they make lovely a lovely sorbet-like mixture.

(And yes I could make egg nog myself but I am saving that for when I make my ultra boozy soak eggs in booze overnight special egg nog).
