New Thanksgiving Food Ideas

Thanksgiving is awesome. So awesome. Too awesome? I typically serve the usual run of the mill sides, occasionally sprucing it up with an OJ infused cranberry sauce, sausage/fennel stuffing, or some crazy mashed potato. About the craziest departure from the norm was some roasted brussel sprouts with sauteed purple cabbage.

So, foodies, what are some great ideas and recipes for new sides to serve or modern spins on the classics?
