Pecan Pie so easy a 14-year old can do it!

About This Recipe

| Special equipment: | Whisk or hand mixer, small to medium bowl, oven, measuring cups |
Ingredients
3 eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup dark corn syrup
4 tbsp. melted butter
Roughly 1 cup chopped pecans
1 prepared pie crust (Homemade or otherwise)
Whole pecans for decoration (optional)
Procedures
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a small to medium bowl, thoroughly whisk eggs.
Add in brown sugar, vanilla extract, dark corn syrup, and melted butter. Mix together until mixture is uniform.
Add in 1 cup of chopped pecans and stir until evenly distributed within syrup mixture. Pour into pie crust and if desired, place pecans on top of mixture. Put in oven and set timer for 1 hour. If crust browns too quickly, cover it with tinfoil. Remove from oven and enjoy!
