Help: Need Manhattan brunch ideas -- West side!

Help, SE-ers! I made reservations at Sarabeth's in Tribeca on Saturday, for a visiting family member, me, my husband and baby. Just found out that my relative has invited two other adults to join us -- she's not a New Yorker and has no idea how painful it is to get a table for 5 adults and a kid at prime weekend brunch time (seating must be between 12:30 and 1). No 5-tops available at SBs until late in the day, sadly.

Does anyone have suggestions for a reasonably priced, good, highchair-friendly place that either takes reservations or doesn't have a crazy wait?

They're coming from Penn Station so I'm thinking anywhere along the West side, north or south, would work. Bonus if it's in a sightseeing-friendly neighborhood... Thanks!
