A French Breakfast
I have scoured the internet looking for inspiration for a class project. I have to make a french breakfast item bring it in and give historical background.
All I can find is the same general response (even here on SE) a typical French breakfast is a baguette and jelly. I don't feel like whipping out Julia Child's cookbook and attempting the dreaded ten page recipe.
So I'm asking you. The wonderful readers of SE what types of french breakfast items do you know of that could help me?
Oh, caveat it has to date to at least the french revolution or before.
