I'm going on a press trip to Valencia next week for four days and I'll have some free time to eat breakfasts and lunches wherever I want. I'll certainly do some research before I go, but if any Serious Eaters have recommendations on places to eat—the less pricey, the better—or interesting food shops and such, I'd love to know! I've never been to Spain before, I rarely eat Spanish food (not for lack of want; I hope to get my crash course next week), and I don't know Spanish, so...this should be interesting.
