I posted this a while ago after seeing the $7 half grapefruit at Balthazar, which made me want to toss my plate through the window. I mean, that's really ballsy in the worst way.

However, I just encountered a contender for the most ridiculously priced single-item in the city: Duane Park Patisserie's $7.50 cookie.

It's a super-thin affair, about 2 inches by 1 inch in the shape of a football jersey (Giants and Jets option). And it sucks. Didn't toss a plate, just stared for a few moments.
