Making PopCorn Balls
I made some delicious popcorn balls the other day I just wanted to share my creation with the world. This is not a new recipe and many people have probably eaten this before, but here is my recipe.
About This Recipe
| Yield: | 9 |
| Active time: | 5 Min |
| Total time: | 25 Min |
| Special equipment: | Large Pot and 3x13 Baking Dish |
Ingredients
1/2 Cup Unpopped Popcorn
1 Tbs Vegetable
5 Cup Mini Marshmallows
6 Tbs Butter
Procedures
1. Start by spraying the 9x13 baking dish with a non stick spray.
2. Turn the burner on high and put on a large pot.
3. Pour in 1 tbs of Vegetable oil into the pot.
4. Put in the 1/2 Cup of unpopped popcorn.
5. Shake the pot while the popcorn is popping.
6. After most of the popcorn is popped dump it into the 9x13 dish.
7. In the same pot put the 6 tbs of butter and begin to stir in the 5 cups of marshmallows. (stirring constantly)
8. After the marshmallows are a liquid/creamy consistency pour it over the popcorn.
9. Mix the popcorn and marshmallows around together to make sure it is distributed equally.
10. Spread some butter over your hands to help keep the popcorn from sticking to your hands.
11. Mold the popcorn/marshmallow into balls. (it can be any size you want)
Optional:
You can add small candy corn to make the popcorn balls more halloween like.
