i am a chump - i think, or have a "greener" thumb, if that is the term, than i thought. here is the gig - i live in NEPA and convinced the wife that 40-something eggs would have half losses, and we would cull, etc. i have 37 little peepers that looks good, i may still lose one or two little ones. but, i was too successful.....and not heartless enough to cull little peepers, too cute.....what do i do? any SE'r in the area want peepers - we can meet up in the middle.....my wife is tired of 37 little peeps, topped off by three roos and a bunch of hens, just this week.....please say this counts as SE - lol. ps - these are japanese as opposed to bobs (which, were i as successful, i would be releasing on game lands - but japanese are poor sporters, dig?) - so meat and eggs from these guys, and they are super easy to take care of, as opposed to phez or even chicken chicks (little cannibals....). so, who wants to have their own "green acres"? or at the least - who has a line i can throw at my wife to buy a little more time????.....she is about at wits end with my backyard farming experiments...and i am not too fond of the couch.
