Grilled Kale

I just wanted to share a little revelation I had while making dinner tonight. I was grilling burgers, and decided that my husband and I needed a little something green. I pulled out some kale, washed it, and threw the pieces (stem attached) onto the grill. I closed the lid for two or three minutes, and then I took it inside, cut the leaves from the stems with shears, and salted it. The kale was tender and the tips of the leaves were crisp and charred. It was absolutely fantastic!

I'm sure this has been done millions of times, but I was pretty proud of myself and just wanted to share how truly delicious it is.
