A Southern friend of mine insists that you cannot find proper sweet tea in New York "made the right way." I am not at all a connoisseur of the drink, having grown up in this five borough town, but I would love to prove him wrong - and delight him with the discovery of Northern-made, true Southern-style sweet tea, of course. Does anyone know of a place in New York that serves it to the very high standards of those who are from below the Mason Dixon line?

Alternatively, can anyone provide a recipe if no such place in NYC exists?
