Fine Dining - who understands/appreciates it?
I just read the list of the top 25 most expensive restaurants in the US. Of course, the French Laundry is #1. Now, I don't have that kind of disponsable income to eat (heck, or even an amuse bouche) there, but even so, I cannot see myself enjoying a 15 course meal over the stretch of 3 hours. Perhaps I do not have a refined palate or I was brought up with simple, rustic foods, but who out there feel the same way or the opposite - those who cannot get enough of a top chef culinary experience?
