Basil Placement On My Pizza

I'm making a white pie for dinner tonight. We've got a ton of basil in our garden and I'm wondering when to put it on the pizza
.
Should I wait until the pizza is done, or nearly done, or put it on pre-bake? Chop it up or put on whole leafs?

Other toppings are mozz, sliced onion and tomato.
