Weekend Cook and Tell: Picnic Provisions

'Tis the season of dining al fresco, so for this week's challenge we're taking a nod from the dining section of The New York Times and talking picnic-friendly foods. In today's paper Alice Hart shares two showstoppers, seafood paella and an apricot frangipane tart, both of with can be served at room temperature without losing any of their alluring summeriness. And for those who prefer to gather their picnic provisions in a more ready made fashion, Florence Fabricant reports on Kenji shared his perfect picnic in France's Jura region, but we're betting that all of you have been doing some good eating in the out-of-doors as well. We want to know the best of this summer's feasts in the grass, menus, beer and wine pairings, creative packing strategies, and all.
