Turned Curd
I was at Sur La Table yesterday and I bought some lemon curd I saw on the sale shelf. When I got it home and opened it, it smelled like feet. Rancid, stinky feet. (note: the color hadn't yet turned). I was disappointed because I had already planned on using it in a recipe and, even on sale, it still cost me a pretty penny. I guess I should have known better than to buy lemon curd on sale but still....sadness.
Anyone else had bad food purchases?
