Need dessert ideas for Bacardi Big Apple rum
I have a large, unopened bottle of Bacardi Big Apple rum sitting in my kitchen, and no idea what to do with it.
DH and I are wine/beer people, so cocktails or other forms of "just drink it" are not really an option. As a last resort, I'll be open to suggestions for using it up in a pitcher-style mixed drink recipe to bring to a cookout, provided the recipe uses lots of the apple rum, and doesn't require me to stock up on lots of other spirits.
My preference would be to use it in desserts, so I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts as to what this can be substituted in for, or links to recipes that actually use it.
Also, I have no idea what this rum tastes like, so if anyone could enlighten me, that would help me try to think of ways to use it. The label art makes me think that it will taste like green apples, but I could be wrong.
