Hello wonderful serious eats community,

My boyfriend and I are going to San Francisco for 4th of July weekend and looking for special places to eat. I've been going there twice a year so i'm pretty much off the grind must-eatwise but it's his first time and I want to show him the town.

Also he's gluten free which is not a huge deal since he usually finds something in most restaurants but I was wondering if there were any gluten free options unique to the city, especially any awesome bakeries.
