Cherries in season, how to keep them?
I found the most amazing cherries in the grocery store this week for $2.99 a pound.
I know the cherry season is pretty short and would like to keep them for use later in the year.
Would it be best to just pit them and freeze them? I've been using them in everything from smoothies to pancakes lately.
How do you stock up on this awesome fruit for the rest of the year?
Also would you do anything different with Rainer cherries? Those are fantastic too.
