The star of my many meals this weekend was an unexpected one: at a cookout yesterday, my friend's sister made a giant veggie paella as an alternative for vegetarians to the burgers/hotdogs etc. It was delicious-- the end of the night found me digging the socarrat off the bottom of the paella pan with a spoon :)
