What's a good "starter" fish?

So here's a weird question, but I figure this is a good place to turn to.
I've never really eaten fish. I've eaten salmon a couple times and not liked it and I've always said "I don't eat fish."
But the truth is I wish I ate more fish - it's low fat and quick to cook and full of good nutrients. Can anyone recommend a fish or cooking method that could help me on the road to seafood bliss? Perhaps something not particularly "fishy" or that even the fish-haters in your family enjoy?
