Hey NY serious eaters, I'm visiting New York this upcoming weekend and I have been dying to finally try out the famed vendors of Red Hook. SE did post a guide for the uninitiated a couple years back, however I do need a little more help. I recently discovered that the closest subway station--Smith-9th St.--is closed. I'm going to be travelling from Queens (near LaGuardia) by subway and need help finding a route to go there.

Also any other tips and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
