Culinary schools

Hi guys,

I am looking at options to learn cooking professionally. I wonder which schools around the world are a good option for a 28-year-old writer/editor with no food background, apart from the odd restaurant review. I am from India so they HAVE to accept international students.

I would be very grateful if anyone here who has been to one can give me first-hand advice.
