Where Did All the Squaw Bread Go?
I used to love this bread for sandwiches or just slathered with butter. Tight crumb, soft, slightly sweet, very dark and savory. I haven't been able to find a loaf of it or something similar it what seems like years. It used to be a pretty common option at delis, but alas no more. What happened? When is it coming back? Am I now forced to just bake my own?
