Short rib situation

So it's finally Memorial Day weekend and that means the grill. I have some beef short ribs that I would prefer to grill outside instead of braising inside, but the interwebs aren't being very helpful with specifics. The Korean BBQ option sounds tasty, but the ribs aren't cut that way, so I'm turning to SE for some help.

Could I braise them in foil on the grill ala alton's baby back ribs and just finish on the grill for flavor, or has anyone tried anything else. I have a 2 burner gas grill with a full tank. Thanks!
