I have a model K-45 that my parents purchased in January, 1974 and the original receipt shows the price, including tax, was $101.72. It's still used two to three times a week and shows no signs of retirement any time soon. KitchenAid mixers have a reputation for lasting a long time and I was wondering about the vintage of others still in service today.
