So ... I was digging in the cabinet that holds the booze, and way in the back are an ancient bottle of gin and an ancient bottle of scotch. Like, I have no idea where they came from or why I own them. They're probably not expensive. I'm sure I didn't by them, because I'm not particularly fond of either one.

But ... I'm willing to give them another try. It's been a lot of years since I tried gin or scotch, so maybe my tastebuds will change their attitude. So, anyone got any drink ideas that would ease me into these before I simply trash them both?
