Right food processor for Indian cooking
I've been debating over which food processor -- or blender -- to buy before deciding to get just one from India.
The goal is to get the right texture and consistency for curry bases which mostly in my case consist of onions, tomatoes, spices, grated coconut etc.
I would like it it if it could do dry spice grinding too.
I've tried a couple of blenders before but they end up turning it all into liquid. I need a consistency that's somewhere between a salsa and pesto.
Food processors can be expensive so what would be a good investment if I was willing to spend upto a $100, maybe $150? Any insight on attachments will be great too!
