Great Chicago Restaurants
I'm going to Chicago with a group of couples for my Senior year College Formal. It is the last time I'll be together with all my close friends before we graduate, and I'd love to make it memorable. I'm looking for a great restaurant in downtown Chicago that would appeal to everyone's tastes and will not break the bank (Alinea and Spaggio, for example, are very much out of our price ranges). I've come up with a couple of options, like Taxim and Prarie Fire, which were rated two of the best new restaurants in Chicago by Chicagomag.com. Does anyone have any other suggestions? There will be around 12 people total. Nothing too stuffy and fancy but also a really nice place that will offer some great food at fair prices ($20-$35ish per entree, for example).
