What kind of seaweed is used in seaweed salad?
I've been trying to incorporate seaweed more into my everyday eating. I already have wakame, kombu and nori. What kind of seaweed do they use in seaweed salad you get at sushi restaurants? Its bright green and a bit translucent when sliced so thinly. I'm pretty sure its none of the above, or hijiki. Perhaps its actually a kelp...
I'm having trouble finding it, especially when looking through the packages of dry stuff.
Any insight, serious eaters?
