New Easter side dishes?
This year I'm hosting Easter dinner and I want it to be good. My parents and my boyfriends parents are coming over. Normally my mom would do it but they will just be getting back from a trip so I'm taking it on. I'm a pretty good cook so I'm not super worried ;)
In my family we have ham, and I'll have to have ham, but the sides are a rather boring. My mom usually makes mashed potatoes, green bean casserole (homemade), some veg, a pineapple relish and some bread. I'd like mix it up a little this year and start a new side dish tradition to add to the repetoire. I'm an adventurous eater, but my family is not, so it can't be too out there.
So...What do other people have? I'd love some ideas.
