Since I am going to be in Paris on my birthday this May, I was hoping to do something fun for it and have something really tasty, though hopefully not too expensive, for a nice birthday treat (one savory place and one sweet, I hope).

Any suggestions for places to go for something special? Crepes? Pastries? Nice authentic rustic French food? Something totally different? I am open to all ideas!
