Hi Serious Eaters, I LOVE mussels (shellfish of any kind) and I wish I could prepare them on my own in my apartment. However, most recipes call for wine, vermouth, etc. UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE 6 MORE MONTHS TO GO UNTIL I CAN LEGALLY ACQUIRE THESE GOODS! Does anyone know of any good substitutes or links to recipes with shell fish that don't require alcohol. I would prefer recipes that don't include frying. Thank you so much for any help!!
