March in my part of the country is always a strange month in the kitchen for me. I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to my soups and stews, even though the thermometer tells me it's time. As the temperatures reached mid to high 70s last week, my menu looked a bit.. bipolar, lol. Potato leek and navy bean soup mixed with pasta with marinara and fresh basil, and grilled chicken spinach salad.
I would love to hear what fellow SE'rs like to make when the weather starts to warm. Do you have any special culinary traditions, or favorite ways to say farewell to winter and usher in the spring?
