Only pasties made in Cornwall to the traditional recipe can be labelled 'Cornish pasties' after a ruling from Brussels
There's an official recipe on the Cornish Pasty Association's web site that includes decent photos, and also the note "Never attempt to add carrot, this is sacrilege!!"
