Back in NY but so blown away by LA sushi I'd hop on a plane. Everyone on SE was right-Studio City has the best, and Sushi Nozawa is tops. It's really inconspicuous, in a strip mall and no frills to be sure. The chef/owner is an old guy who dishes out a "Trust Me" menu which involves plates of the freshest sushi: snapper/black cod/uni/ etc. Man, I love that place!
